The 90’s are back on trend and Playback: The 90s Party, is returning to East London to transport you back to the decade of crop tops and bucket hats.

Rewinding to our youth, Playback: The 90s Party gives creds to the fashion, music and films that made a generation and is now inspiring latest street style trends. With dance and flaring classes, special guest performances and curated live music, this party will present the true sounds of the decade, while setting the scene with the coolest 90s inspired drinks, décor, and fashions.

For the evening, an East London warehouse will be transformed into the ultimate 90s party venue, with a style and atmosphere reminiscent of something in between The Viper Room and Ministry Of Sound. Featuring two large party spaces, the space will be decked out with an arcade games room inspired by the era of the Nintendo, dance podiums fit for Madonna, and a huge screen showcasing 90s classic films and VJ mash-ups.

The party begins with 90s flaring demonstrations where guests are shown how to flip, throw and mix a Pina Colada or Cosmo in breath taking style. Then wannabe MTV stars can learn the dance-moves from all their favourite 90s videos: from sliding to Jamiroquai and vogueing to Madonna, to doing the running man to Vanilla Ice and head banging to the Prodigy.

Throughout the evening, partygoers can drink at one of the multiple cocktail bars, attempt to get the highest score at Pacman, push it to Salt ‘n’ Pepa, get loaded to Primal Scream, or body pop to Run DMC as part of a 90s break dance stand-off. A hair and make-up stand will also be available to channel some of the most famous looks of the decade.

11138511_956210904431133_6835721489373593750_nDrinks on the night will be provided by cocktail experts, Bourne & Hollingsworth, and will try to take guests down memory lane, putting a modern spin on favourites from the time including frozen daiquiris, wibbles, and blue lagoons.
