Cooler days are here and there is nothing quite like camping out by a roaring fire with a hot drink. But to be honest here at The Locals we are a bit tired of the traditional Mulled Wine. So this winter  we have unanimously decided it is all about the Hot Toddy.

Check out our recipe below, made with Drambuie, which adds hints of heather honey and spice make it ideal to get you in the Christmas spirit – enjoy!



For one

50ml Drambuie Original
150ml Pressed Apple Juice
1 Cinnamon Stick
4 Cloves
20ml Sugar Syrup
25ml Lemon Juice
2 Orange Twists

Heat all the ingredients together except the Drambuie. Add the Drambuie to a teacup or handled latte glass, then, strain in the warm apple juice mixture. Garnish with a lemon slice and a fresh cinnamon stick.
