Léa Seydoux for Rag and Bone

Earlier this week  New York fashion house rag & bone, launched their Fall Winter 2013 campaign filmed by the Glen Luchford and featuring the ward-winning French actress Léa Seydoux.

On Rag and Bone’s website the explain the inspiration behind the campaign stating:

“For us, it’s all about using individuals we view as iconic characters,” says Marcus Wainwright. Shot day to night in the grittier parts of New York’s cityscape, legendary photographer Glen Luchford lensed Seydoux in black and white using 35mm and 16mm film and hand-printed the images. “Glen achieved exactly what we were after – perfectly caught real moments without lighting or props. Even more exciting was shooting on film and developing in the darkroom,” says Wainwright. “She stayed out in the torrential rain and got absolutely drenched,” recalls Neville of Seydoux’s shoot. “Her personality is encapsulated in the resulting photos – she is this beguiling, natural beauty.”
