The London Short Film Festival, kicks off tomorrow, and will run until January 19th at venues across London.

The festival features over 300 new short films from British filmmakers as well as a programme of retrospectives, special events and panel discussions.

This year sees a record breaking 32 programmes of new shorts for the festival selected from 1200 open submission entries. With themes as varied at God’s Lonely Men to Teenage Girls go Crazy to The Gothic & The Grotesque. If you want to see the best short films produced in the past year then there’s no need to look anywhere else.

The rest of the programme sees LSFF turn London’s venues into a canvas with live music and film events, retrospectives of prolific filmmakers including Jane Linfoot, Eva Weber and Tony Grisoni as well as a series of debates around filmmaking and film exhibition.

Key events will be taking place at  their regular cinemas, including the ICA, Curzon Soho, Hackney Picturehouse, Riverside Studios and others.
