A few weeks ago The Diner reached out to us to let us know they have introduced a Vegan Benedict to their menu. I’m not going to lie I almost fell off my chair with excitement as good breakfast options for vegans are still very limited.
The london chain, is based on the classic American diner and have built their reputation around pancakes, burgers and milkshakes. In the past their veggie options have been quite limited, however they recently introduced their new menu packed with options for all kinds of dietary requirements including vegetarians and gluten intolerant.
I obviously headed straight to my closest Diner to try the benedict for myself. Jam-packed full of veggie-goodness, it is made up of a flat mushroom base, topped with spinach, chickpea patties, tomato, avocado and sesame sauce. Served with fresh fruit and tater tots, and unlimited coffee it was the perfect Sunday brunch.
